Weddings By the Sea SPI is a family-owned company founded in 2001 by Judith Beat.  In 2005, Judith was joined by her daughter, Teresa Scott.  Weddings By the Sea SPI is the oldest and most established destination wedding company on South Padre Island.

 After spending many years in St. Thomas and St. Johns as an Officiant and wedding consultant, Judith moved to South Padre in 1995.  With the allure of the tropics providing the perfect backdrop, Judith established Weddings By the Sea SPI to offer complete services to make your dream of an island wedding a reality.

 Weddings By the Sea SPI takes pride in offering you assistance with the most minute details of your tropical wedding.  As our wedding/bridal consultant, Ginny is pleased to take care of all your needs, including catering, floral arrangements, and table decorations.  With over 30 years of experience, Ginny will fashion the perfect romantic setting to celebrate your island wedding.  As in-house baker and decorator, Deborah, a local legend for her skills, takes pleasure in creating the perfect cake to entice the eyes and please the palate.

 Weddings By the Sea SPI also offers the services of four ministers representing different denominations, one of whom is fluent in Spanish, to officiate.  Weddings By the Sea SPI offer a varied assortment of vows from Traditional to Secular.

Just a note to say how lucky I was to find you and your daughter!!  Everyone was so impressed with both of you.  The ceremony setting was beautiful and the words spoken were very touching.  No dry eyes in the group.  The cakes were beautiful and tasty and the bouquet was stunning.  Pam and Jason loved it all!!  We have beautiful pictures to share with all of our family and friends too!
